Isha Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev,an Indian yogi and mystic. He has served as a delegate to the United Nations Millennium Peace Summit and the World Peace Congress. He is the only speaker to have been invited to the World Economic Forum three years in a row.The yoga foundation addresses all aspects of human wellbeing. The ashtam is situated at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains, near the Coimbatore city of Tamil Nadu. Spread over an area of 150 acres.It has over 250,000 volunteers and works in tandem with international bodies like the UN through its various programmes and initiatives.Isha Foundation's latest initiative Project Green Hands aims to prevent and reverse environmental degradation and enable sustainable living by planting an estimated 114 million saplings across Tamil Nadu in the next 10 years.
Sri Aurobindo Ashram
Location : Pondicherry
Sri Aurobindo Ashram was founded by Sri Aurobindo an Indian nationalist, mystic, evolutionary philosopher and spiritual master. The ashram is a large institution with locations in cities all over the world in addition to dominating the downtown area of Pondicherry. It provides many charitable benefits to the area, including free medical facilities and a publishing house. The Ashram main building was the abode of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother during most of their stay in Pondicherry. In the inner courtyard is the Samadhi of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. The Ashram is open to all during fixed hours every day.
Auroville (City of Dawn) is an "experimental" township was founded as a project of Sri Aurobindo Society by Mirra Alfassa, The Mother. She was an equal spiritual collaborator of Sri Aurobindo, who believed that "man is a transitional being".
In the middle of the town is the Matrimandir, which has been acclaimed as "an outstanding and original architectural achievement". Silence is maintained inside the Matrimandir to ensure the tranquility of the space and entire area surrounding the Matrimandir is called Peace area.
Sri Ramana Maharshi Ashram

Bhagwan Sri Ramana Maharshi Ashram is situated at the foothills of the famous Arunachala temple in Tiruvannamalai. It is a better place for those people, who seek peace and solitude.
This is the ashram where Ramana Maharshi lived for the last 20 years of his life.
Ramana Maharshi was an awe inspiring sage who's presence graced the renowned sacred Arunachala hill during much of the 20th century. He was known throughout India and to many in the rest of the world as the silent sage whose peaceful presence and powerful gaze changed the lives of the many who came into his presence.

The temple has a Shiva linga and behind the Shiva linga a statue of Bhagwan Sri Ramana Maharshi. His ashram is a must visit place at Tiruvannamalai.
Yogi Ramsurat Kumar Ashram

Yogi Ramsurat kumar ashram was founded by Yogi Ramsurat kumar, one of the Greatest Indian saints and mystics of this era. He was also referred to as "Visiri samiyar".
It is said that Sri Aurobindo, the founder of Integral yoga gave him Jnana, Sri Ramana Maharshi, , one of the spiritual superman of his time blessed him with tapas and Swami Ramadas, Yogi's eventual guru gave him the nectar of Bhakti.
His devotees wished him to have an Ashram which he gently accepted after much persuasion for the sake of his devotees.
The ashram complex contains Meditation hall, Adhistan mandir(temple) which attracts devotees from all over, vedic research centre. It is highly recommended that anyone who visits Thiruvanamalai have a pilgrimage to this ashram. Yogi Ramsuratkumar's ashram is one of the unique ashrams in south india.

Mata Amritanandamayi Devi is an Indian spiritual leader revered as a saint by her followers, who also know her as "Amma", "Ammachi" or "Mother". She is widely respected for her humanitarian activities and is known as "the hugging saint".
